How We Review Casinos

Our review process

We open a real-money account at every casino we review. No exceptions and no shortcuts. Reviewers deposit using at least two payment methods, play across live blackjack, slots and (where offered) live poker, claim the bonus and place a real withdrawal request before publishing.

Ranking criteria

Each casino is scored on seven weighted criteria. The composite is what determines its position in our rankings. Category-specific pages (live, slots, bonuses) apply different weightings — see below.

Category-specific weightings

• Live casino pages: Live casino quality is weighted higher; slots weight reduced.
• Slot casino pages: Slots library and slot provider mix weighted higher; live casino weight reduced.
• Bonus pages: Bonus value, wagering requirements and terms transparency weighted higher.

How we test live casinos

• Study coverage at three time slots (morning, evening, weekend).
• Blackjack: at least ten hands per table type observed for shoe management and dealer conduct.
• Mobile: tested on iOS Safari and Android Chrome in portrait and landscape.
• Support: at least one chat and one email contact per site, logged for response time.

How we check licenses

Every license number is verified on the regulator's public register. If the register is unavailable, we contact the regulator directly. Casinos with expired, suspended or non-verifiable licenses are removed from our rankings within 24 hours.

How we review bonuses

We read the T&Cs in full, flagging wagering, game weighting for live tables and slots, max cash-out, bet-size caps and expiry. A generous headline number is not enough to score well. We never describe bonuses as "guaranteed", "risk-free" or "easy money".

How we test slots libraries

We count catalog size, provider mix, RTP transparency, presence of Megaways / bonus buy titles, mobile portrait support and the availability of demo mode. Signature titles from top-tier studios (Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming) must be present at full advertised RTP.

How we test payments

Deposit and withdrawal times are measured against the wall clock, not the casino's promised window. First-withdrawal delays caused by KYC are separated from operator-side processing delays.

How often reviews are updated

Rankings refresh monthly. Individual reviews are re-checked at least once per quarter and immediately if a license, provider or major policy changes.
